Though the markings seem too simple to
represent full language, the author believes that some of them could have been used to convey geographic information or to aid in remembering the parts of ceremonies.
Flexibility of the national representative body's structures and processes is important in order to reflect and
represent the
full diversity of Indigenous cultures and situations in Australia, whether at family, clan, community,
language group or national level.
