Most of the tutorials I found
required some amount of sanding,
cutting, drilling or
nailing and, nope, that's not something I have any interest in doing.
Chows don't
require extensive trimming but do need a few hours of brushing, bathing and
nail cutting to maintain their magnificent appearance.

They're not faddy eaters, they don't shed excessive hair and as all three of mine are smooth coated, they don't
require much grooming beyond
nail cutting and teeth cleaning... as pets go, lurchers are pretty much perfect.
This is a particularly handy feature if you have one of the giant breeds, or a pet with
nails that
require a more angled
cut.
They are easy to train, and short of
cutting their
nails and caring for their teeth, they do not
require a lot of grooming.
