As a member of the Regina
Cat Rescue (RCR) Foster Home team, you will be responsible for the assessment of potential foster homes, placement of
tame cats into suitable foster homes and oversight of the care provided to
cats while in RCR foster homes.
For any
tame, owned
cats or
rescued cats or kittens who are not getting eartipped, we do offer spay / neuter services at reduced rates.

cat colony will rapidly grow.
Often we arrive to
rescue one mother and kittens, only to find many more
cats which have not been reported to us but are in urgent need of help For instance, whilst attending to collect a stray
cat having difficulty giving birth on a doorstep, we were beckoned across to help with a mother and five feral 7 - week old kittens in a back garden and a
tame heavily pregnant
cat living in another front garden.

cats that are reported to, and taken to,
rescue centres are
tame unneutered males once owned pets.

Regina
Cat Rescue (RCR) is fortunate to have many dedicated volunteers who care for our
rescued cats and kittens - from the
tame kitties placed into foster care to the community
cats who are happiest living on the streets with the support of our Community
Cat Team.
They undertook the creation of a Pet
Rescue program for
tame cats and a Trap, Neuter, Return program for community
cats - two programs that exist to this day.
Cat shelters and feral
rescue organisations frequently seek homes for non-domestic
cats and also to
tame cats unsuited to an indoor or domestic lifestyle (poor temperament, poor hygiene, stress at living indoors etc).
