At the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues in New York this week, human rights and public health advocate Dameyon Bonson has been drawing attention to a lack of data and research into the prevention of suicide for Indigenous LGBQTI people (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex).

Its mission is to promote the ethical application of psychological science to human welfare, and to provide the public with accurate, research - based information about a variety of mental health issues.
