I do know that the Koran often speaks about
respecting other «peoples of the book» which at the time I believe were referring to Jews, Christains and even Zoroastrians (one of the often forgotten root faiths of Judaism, Christianity and Islam along with the Egyptian and Sumerian religions).

The true definition of «tolerance» is that we can discuss, argue and disagree WHILE still loving and
