on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, along with the dangers of purchasing a dog from a pet store or puppy mill.
To that end, our staff is committed to working as a team with you to promote
responsible pet ownership through client education while providing preventative health care and a stress - free experience.
Students learn about
responsible pet ownership while taking turns choosing pet care items from our «grab bag,» learning what the items are and why pets need them.
We need to harness that creative talent to market our industry and promote our commitment to animal care and
responsible pet ownership so it sticks in the public consciousness.
This would go a long way in
undermining responsible pet ownership and would open the industry up to damage from radical animal - rights groups who would like to end pet ownership altogether.
They must offer support and incentives to encourage and
reward responsible pet ownership; and they must enforce reasonable penalties against irresponsible pet owners to bring them into compliance.
I am also inspired by these events about the prospect of additional ways we can positively
impact responsible pet ownership and our industry when we work together.
Officers also serve as educators in the community on topics
of responsible pet ownership through various department programs promoting humane and responsible care of domestic animals.
Our initiatives provide compassionate care for homeless pets, reduce animal overpopulation with our Spay & Neuter Assistance Program,
foster responsible pet ownership and promote community kindness.
