After months of deliberation, the FAA finally announced last week that it is going to relax
restrictions on use of personal electronic devices such as tablets and e-readers during
certain phases of the
flight.

For example, as of this writing, United only allows you to book
certain flights using MileagePlus miles, whereas Southwest has no
restrictions on which
flights can be booked with Rapid Rewards points.
These vary by card but may include priority boarding, seat upgrades, discounts
on in -
flight refreshments and a waiver of
certain restrictions on budget fares.
