I can nitpick on each of our 14 players performance in this game if i want, but I happen to think that overall, obtaining a draw
against a title contender playing away, especially playing with 10 men for almost 45 minutes, was not such a
bad result after all, not only if the standard is applied to a fragile
team such as AFC, but also if it were to be applied to some other «fantastic»
team such as for example, Leicester... I can imagine that if we were to loose the game the way Leicester did at the Emirates, many (visitors to this site) would be condemning our players bottlers, chokers instead of hailing them for defending bravely for 20 minutes with 10 men... LOL..
The players have to recover from that poor
result in the derby and there's no better fixture to restart the winning streak than
against the
worst team in the division — who's manager is expected to be sacked if his
team loses
against us.
well i know the guys in england belittle the spurs the whole time (the fans outside of england do nt really feel the hate, because in switzerland for example is the hate on chelsea muuuuuch stronger ^ ^) you got ta be real and accept that spurs are a top 6
team, and drawing
against them isn't such the
worst result and the «pundits» and a lot of guys here always bash arsenal that they don't have the title mentality to get a point from a win and a win from a draw, so i think in the years before, we would have well lost the game, so i am happy with the point, and the fight of the guys
