At the
job fair, you might be wondering why companies seem so reluctant to take your paper
resume.
I think the infographic
resume can be useful for those in the social media / creative / marketing / graphic design fields, and could also be a good conversation starter if handed out
at job fairs / networking events.
A mini
resume, however, comes in handy
at job fairs or networking events when you're meeting with many people and want to leave them with something more than a business card, but less bulky than a full
resume.
This means that you should generally avoid fancy fonts, graphics and other «special effects» that don't always make it through the technologies correctly,
at least for your electronic
resume (you might want a more elaborate version to hand out
at job fairs, but it really isn't necessary).

fairs are all about first impression which is based on the way you present yourself and your
resume.
I presented it
at a
job fair yesterday and I noticed that the people in front of me had their
resumes placed in a pile, but several employers turned mine over and made notes on the back:) Pretty sure it was all good because they told me the names of the people they were going to forward my
resume to!
