the revealed doctrines of my Church, but I have faith and I live, study, pray daily and I am a happier person for it.

We usually focus on the content
of faiths and policies in disputing groups; for example, the Catholic bishops» pastoral letters, the sermonic messages
of Martin Luther King, Jr., and black
churches, Mormon
doctrines about equality or inequality, New Christian Right teachings based on
revealed truths, or Jews» concepts
of the land
of Israel.
In the first place it can be taken as axiomatic in the Catholic view
of faith that where the
Church's magisterium has once unambiguously required at any time an absolute, ultimate and unconditional assent
of faith to a definite
doctrine as
revealed by God, the
doctrine in question is no longer subject to revision and is irrevocable.
The
doctrines of church and ministry
reveal the depth nature
of a counseling group, and a counseling group can become a means
of grace whereby the
church is enabled to be the
church.
The
Church herself and her authority to teach provide crucial warrants for seeing a developing
doctrine as the deepening
of a continuous, unchanging
revealed truth.
It does
reveal, however, the shift
of emphasis which took place in the early centuries
of the
Church from the Trinity
of experience to the Trinity
of doctrine.

doctrine of [new] continuing revelation [such as the Book
of Mormon], Latter - day Saints believe that Jesus, under the direction
of Heavenly Father, leads the
church by
revealing his will to its President» This is in direct contradition to Jude 1:3 which says that the faith was «once for all delivered unto the saints.»
One
of its key tenets is that the modern era
reveals something new about the human condition that requires the
Church and
doctrine to change in fundamental ways.
