There is no reason why Jacobs should not lampoon a
book after a brief glance rather than dignifying it with a
review, but it is a bit much to accompany the caricature with advice to the author on the virtues of close
reading.
Inclined to buy the summary

I always
review the

books and no need to charge my battery, or worry about my kindle being stolen — its an investment, but not as much as a fancy tablet that would have needed charging every couple of days — being able to buy a
book and
read it moments
after reading a
review of it.
I rent movies directly off my friends» queues all the time, but I still buy
books from Amazon
after speaking with someone or
reading anonymous
reviews.
Users can shelve your
book to
read for later, update their progress while
reading, and
review your
book after completing it.
Again, request that winners leave a
review after they finish
reading the
book.
After reading, they'll also be rewarded for
reviewing the title, and encouraged to sign the
book with their Twitter handle and leave it for the next reader to find.
