A review of studies looking at the impact of music therapy («personalized music experience offered by trained music therapists») and music medicine («listening to pre-recorded music provided by a doctor or nurse») in people with cancer has found significant evidence that music does indeed ease symptoms of cancer.
In fact, a 2014
review of studies looking at fluid requirements and breastfeeding found that it's not necessary for nursing moms to drink more than what's already «biologically necessary» for them.

One the largest analysis
of the peer -
reviewed literature was published in The American Journal
of Clinical Nutrition in 2010, and this meta - analysis
looked at almost 350,000
studies published on saturated fats, and concluded:
Looking back at peer
reviewed studies of the past some can find comfort in the «safety»
of regular routine x-rays in pregnant women, certain medications such as Thalidomide, and the «benefit»
of continuous fetal monitoring in all pregnant women, etc..
I think that if you
look at the Cochran
Review, which did a meta - analysis
of studies of home birth, they actually rejected those
studies because they skew the results
of the analysis by including those unplanned home births.
One
review surveyed 23
studies on potty training and identified 21 «signs
of readiness» that parents should
look for.
Interesting only 2
of the
studies in the
review looked a uterine rupture — a greater risk for women who have previously laboured.
However, the
studies the agency
reviewed were almost all observational — meaning the researchers
looked at rates
of a given health problem among infants whose mothers chose to breastfeed and those whose mothers did not.
In addition, a
review of 24
studies looking at marijuana use during pregnancy found that pot use during pregnancy makes baby 77 percent more likely to be underweight at birth.

A meta - analysis (a
review of a group

of 626 adults and concluded that whey protein powder has favorable effects on body composition (and is even more effective when combined with resistance training).
Now, we have one
