Guidelines do vary, though — in the UK, strawberries are often introduced somewhat
earlier in the first year... and
advice in the US to delay their introduction until 12 months has now been
revised to state that strawberries and other foods considered to be «highly allergic» may now usually be given from 6 months (please see this report from the American Academy of Pediatrics).
