If you're not an IHG
Rewards fan but, for one reason or another, are about to find yourself staying at an IHG property then you may as well get some airline miles
out of the stay... so make sure you register for the
promotion.
For most travelers this is a
promotion that should be avoided but, just to be on the safe side, make sure you do the math and work
out the difference in cost between the cash fare and the cost if you were to purchase Avios and book
reward flights.
If you're a regular at Marriott properties, earning miles is not the best use of your stays or nights — you would get a lot more value
out of the loyalty program if you were earning Marriott
Rewards points, so this
promotion really isn't for you.
