Oat milk and
rice milk seem to be okay — always read labels for other ingredients that may be added such as chicory root extract that are problematic.
Most brands of
rice milk seem to be loaded with sugar and synthetic vitamins.
And
rice milk seems like too much glucose (sugar).

Any other alternative non-dairy
milk powder should substitute well, although the
rice milk powders
seem to be hit and miss on reviews and lack nutritional content.
During my afternoon slump, where I particularly craved something sweet, I simply made a cup of hot chocolate with my cacao powder, hot
milk or dairy substitute (I think
rice milk tastes best) and little bit of sweetener and
seemed to feel satisfied.
With a wealth of dairy - free options ranging from almond, cashew, macadamia, soy, pecan, potato (yes, potato), hemp,
rice... literally, we could go on for days... it
seems a bit ridiculous to keep relying on cows
milk.
This was also delicious, though basmati is less sticky than jasmine
rice, so the coconut
milk doesn't
seem to absorb as much and tends to form more of a creamy coating on the grains.
In fact,
rice seemed to cause this disorder in more babies than either soy or cow's
milk, which were previously considered to be the most common causes.
I always crave something sweet after a meal and usually have something like a lollipop, low fat hot chocolate made with water and a dash of
milk or a chocolate
rice cake, not ideal I know but
seems better than having a bar of chocolate!
I
seem to recall how desperately deflated and unmotivated I felt about baking, but I also recall how Beth loved almond and hazelnut
milk and at a push
rice milk.
I have done much reading and from it all; it
seems the healthiest way is to get rid of the white flour bread, white flour pasta, sugar, soda, potato chips, white
rice, sugary juice; and consume lots of leafy greens, sweet potatoes, pistachios, creamy unsweetened peanut butter, whole grains, whole fruit, unsweetened coconut
milk (which is so GOOD!)
In similar fashion to modern
rice syrup, it
seems a few traditional people groups consumed something similar to
milk powder.
As a vegetarian, if I cut out staples like
rice, wheat, pulses, legumes, —
milk, potatoes and fruit — there doesn't
seem much left to eat!

rice lover (it
seems good for me as I can tell my body likes it too) and i even started using
rice milk, but i always baulked at changing to brown
rice and am so glad you have made me feel happy about that.
