We have chicken with gravy over
rice one night, and the next we have chicken soup and chicken salad.
I would love to find some other brand of tortillas because the
brown rice ones are the only other tortillas I buy, and they need to be really fresh or they fall apart.
Could you please be specific about how much (either by volume or weight) cooked
white rice one should eat on a daily basis?

A friend of mine (she's got more money than I've got) has a large teppanyaki grill and two weeks ago she made fried cauliflower
rice one night and I was blown away.
Right now he uses corn tortillas or the
brown rice ones, but I've had the brown rice tortillas before and they are barely pliable.
But I did have brown rice cakes (vastly superior in flavor and texture to the
white rice ones, as I recently discovered).
I love making (or should I say, eating) an andouille / red bean /
rice one - pot meal, but I often have more issues with it than not.
I second the GF tortilla, I HATE the brown
rice ones and when I want burritos, my mouth is NOT watering for a corn tortilla.
Add the warm vegetable broth to
the rice one ladle at a time, stirring occasionally, and waiting until the rice absorbs all of the broth before adding more; this could take up to half an hour.
