I used smoked paprika as I didn't have any regular paprika left and
also exchanged brown
rice pasta for chickpea
pasta.
I served this over brown
rice pasta, but
rice would
also be great of course, or serve it with vegetables if you're not eating grains.
Rice &
Pasta Rice is
also lower in phytic acid, and while it's ideal to soak it, you can get away without.
The recipe
also goes well with a side of couscous, whole - wheat
pasta, brown
rice or quinoa.
I personally really like both brown
rice and quinoa
pasta, but I
also really enjoyed the red lentil
pasta pictured above.
I
also love stirfries — sometimes I skip the
rice /
pasta and go for lots & lots of veggies.
You may
also use sprouted
rice flour or sprouted wheat flour to make homemade
pasta.
While a lot of our CSA greens end up in soups and
pasta dishes, I
also like to stir fry them with Asian flavors to serve with
rice or noodles.
