Rice syrup is a sweet liquid made from rice. It can be used as a natural sweetener in recipes and foods.

of rice syrup listed in the ingredients along with the seeds from roughly 10 cardamom pods in a small pot.
For instance, we'll often eat strawberries with whipped cream sweetened
with rice syrup.
I've actually never used brown
rice syrup if you can believe it, but have been meaning to pick some up for this exact purpose — to make snack bars.
For most such recipes you can replace the honey with brown
rice syrup which is low FODMAP.
If you don't keep brown
rice syrup on hand, feel free to use honey, maple syrup, or even coconut sugar with a teaspoon or two of water.
I prefer brown
rice syrup because it's got less of a sweetness bite to it, but go with what you have on hand.
I haven't tried this recipe with brown
rice syrup so can't say for sure that it would work, but I suspect it probably would.
Note that organic powdered baby formulas which
contain rice syrup as the number one or number two ingredient are documented to be an arsenic risk for baby.
Once I get into my ideal weight then I'd occasionally eat a little bit of cheese and
include rice syrup as well.

I've gotten brown
rice syrup at all natural markets in my area and even at some of the regular supermarkets here.

warm rice syrup onto the oatmeal and mix everything until well combined and sticky.

I find brown

You could certainly use brown
rice syrup here, though it's not raw so the cookies wouldn't «officially» be raw.
Perhaps it is the type of sugar,
primarily rice syrup in the 9 Bars, that explains the unusual response.

rice syrup etc and have come to the conclusion that starch causes me more problems than anything else.
