I made a few minor changes to the sauce: more honey to taste, added chili pepper flakes, used
rice wine
vinegar instead of red wine
vinegar, and used powdered ginger
rather than fresh.
... Take two: I used brown
rice flour and made my own soured almond milk (
vinegar + milk in place of buttermilk) I only used 1 cup (
rather than 1 1/2).
