Some of those
rich notification changes come
in the form of a custom
notification when media is playing.
But they aren't wasted space, because
in addition to holding the 8 - megapixel selfie cam and tiny
notification light, they also hide some of the
richest and most powerful speakers any company has ever put
in a phone.
In short,
notifications are going to get a lot more feature -
rich later this summer with bigger images, more options, more information, and just a more immersive experience.

in picture feature so that you can watch your video while doing other things on your phone and then there are the new
rich media
notifications which change color based on the associated image to the media too are enjoying.
This may take a while, and
in general there needs to be more app support so that
notifications can offer a
richer experience.
Notifications take a
richer step
in Android Wear and now are usable like pages of a book.
Google incorporated a
notification center for Windows, Mac and Linux
in 2013, fusing
rich notifications from web pages and Google Now and making them easily accessible via a shortcut on the OS X menu bar and Windows taskbar.
You can also expect to see widgets and tiles
in the Action Center, allowing developers to deliver
notifications with a much more
rich set of information.
