Arsenal have no specialist
right back on the bench and I hope we don't regret it and I hope it doesn't mean that Bellerin has a problem.
Why do we keep a specialised
right back on the bench?
Not exact matches
Both Ramsey and Cazorla can defend and score as well and I am expecting a very tight match for Ozil to control the ball and make the
right pass... Ramesy for Cesc and Coq for Hazard (tight m2m)... I am sure Monreal will handle his
back very well and I hope the same for Bellerin against Hazard... Giroud will find difficulties to hold up the ball against Cahill and Tery, he must be
on his day... Welback to do them the same of Utd game... Gabriel should start most of the remaining games, BFG should be
benched next season
While it is a bit difficult to determine whether Debuchy is an upgrade
on Sagna or a like for like replacement, one can argue that the fact Debuchy
benches Sagna in their French national team is enough evidence that he manages to edge our former
right back.
So when he was joined in the treatment room by Debuchy at the weekend and Jenkinson was not even
on the
bench there was real concern that the
right back position could be a big problem, which is why the latest injury update
on Bellerin
on Sky Sports is so welcome.
If arteta not fit he may put chambers in midfield and bring mert
back in for Everton game play cambell
on left ox
right and Sanchez through the middle have ozil, carzola, giroud, rosicky and podolski
on bench!
In the midfield, (including RWB & LWB) we have a whole bunch of tweeners... none offer the full package, none make sense in our manager's current favourite formation, except for Sead
on the left and Ox
on the
right, and all of them have never shown any consistency for more than a heartbeat... Sead, who I'm including in this category because of our present formation, looks like a positive addition, minus his occasional brain farts, but I would rather see what he could do in a
back 4 before making my mind up... Ox, who has never played better, which isn't saying much considering his largely underwhelming play in previous seasons, seems to have found a home in this new formation; unfortunately, can we really expect this oft - injured player to handle the taxing duties that come with said position over the long haul, not to mention, it looks like he has no intention of staying... Ramsey has relied
on the empathy that stems from his gruesome injury years ago and the excitement that was generated a few years
back when he finally seemed to put in altogether, but
on the whole he has been a big disappointment (neither he nor the Ox have scored enough to warrant a regular spot)... Wiltshire should be put
on a weekly contract then played until he suffers his first injury, if and when that occurs he should be shipped - out and no one should very be allowed to say his name
on club grounds ever again... Elnehy & Coq are average players who couldn't make any of the top 7 teams currently in the EPL... both have showed some great energy
on the pitch, but neither are top quality and no good team can afford to have that many average players
on their
bench playing the same position, especially with Coq's injury history / discipline concerns and Elheny's headless chicken tendencies... as for Xhaka, his tenure here so far has been incredibly underwhelming... we know he has some skills to provide the long ball but his defensive work is piss poor and he gives the ball away too cheaply and far too often... finally, the enigma himself, Ozil, so much skill with his left foot but his presence has been more frustrating than uplifting... in many respects his failure has been directly related to the failure of this club to provide him with the necessary players up front, minus Sanchez of course, and unless something drastic happens very soon his legacy will be largely a negative one (much like Wenger's)
Le Coq had to go through the same kind of education Flamini went through all those years to toughen him up, playing left
back,
right back,
bench,
back on the pitch, some more
bench and finally the Flamini that played like an F16 figher jet not the Flamini 2.0 we have now.

on the
bench though, as with Mathieu Debuchy ruled out due to an injury niggle I thought the boss would go with Chambers to cover both
right back and central defence.
One of the other decisions the boss had to make was at
right back, where he has gone for Gabriel and with Jenkinson not even
on the
bench as Rob Holding makes the matchday squad instead.

right guard while our second round safety sits

i just think the team is to unbalanced playing Ramsay
on the
right were he spends most of his time in the middle is ridiculous leaving our
right back exposed especially when you have the ox and Walcott
on the
bench and whose fault is it that the team is unbalanced the man who picks the team it does not matter if we get a world class striker if we keep playing players out of position anyway
on to Newcastle next hope we get the 3 points COYG

No wilzhere or ozil means that cazorla has more space to play, lobbing balls left and
right and spreading play.Wilshere should either sit

bench or play elsewhere.Ramsey should learn how to set up assist and give passes which does not involve him getting a pass
back.

back on the
bench and field a
right wing
back on the left?
Your best left
back is in the
bench and a out of form
right back playing
on left position.
I'm not certain how it would play out but it would have been interesting to see Perez playing in a front 3 with Sanchez and Lacazette, with Perez
on the
right, but in order to do that we would need a true defensive midfielder so that we could still have Ozil in the middle, playing behind the front 3, and Sead and Ox / Bellerin taking turns making wide side runs... unfortunately Wenger has made sure that could never happen because it would require buying the proper
back 3 to handle this situation and he would have to
bench his beloved Walcott and Ramsey
on a regular basis... like I said before, I'm very concerned that Wenger will play Lacazette out wide
on the left with Giroud in the middle, which means Sead will likely be in the
back 3 and Ox will be played in the left wing -
back position, which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever... God, I hope I'm wrong
Simply put, surely we would have been better to have two young players like Bellerin and Jenkinson vying for the
right -
back spot, rather than have a disgruntled 30 year - old moping about
on the
bench?
Serbian international has recently been named Chelsea captain, in the absence of
benched defender John Terry, but this hasn't lessened the pressure
on the
right -
back, who has struggled for form this season.
Sanchez CAN play
on the left, as we have seen him do
on numerous occasions for Barca, granted not as much as we saw him playing
on the
right... But my point is that, in order to fit them both in the team, Sanchez should play
on the left... However, I have a feeling Walcott will come off the
bench against City anyway, just coming
back from injury...
I think leaving our young
right back out is a good thing and I would have FQ
on the
bench to and as for AR well I think 2 - 3 weeks rest would do him good as he is forcing his game.
I said I hope Coquelin has a good game against City and shoves your negative comments up your Arse he did that and not me but 99 percent said of arsenal fans agreed as for watching football to be an expert no wonder you can't see a good player Ya have to play the game to have any idea of quality if I'm a sensationalist then great I had faith in him, and what's wrong with playing for Charlton to get experience Ya don't get it sitting
on the
bench again you know shit about how clubs use there players Enough of this
back an forth crap I will wait till the end of season to see who was
right about him CB

Not sure anyone will be wanting to sign him next year for other than a few million, He has had one good game so far this season and seeing we have had a great start that does not sit well, Last week playing Tomks and Reid in the middle was not good and so far Tomks has played better at
right back because he concentrated more and don't give me that not so good attacking view we don't need that with the midfield and forwards we have and I would prefer Kouyate going forward and not having to worry about covering Jenks
back, Time for Oxford to have a game along side Reid I think or Ginge, Maybe Jenks and Noble need to watch from the
bench for a week and get a reality check, No I ain't saying get rid just a slap
on the wrist to wake them up

right -
back, Emre Can stepping in for Jordan Henderson, and Alex Oxlade - Chamberlain nudging Daniel Sturridge to the
bench.
There's no doubt that Clyne is an upgrade
on an aging Johnson, I just do not think he has what it takes to become Liverpool's regular
right -
back and I can forsee Jürgen Klopp maybe bringing him off the
bench a bit more as the season progresses especially with the return to fitness of the Scouse Cafu, Jon Flanagan.
It is expected though, that when the Spaniard returns to match fitness, Debuchy will be sitting his matches out
on the Arsenal

Bench MPs for the first time secured the
right to set up debates of their own choosing
on the floor of the House, rather than being dependent
on Government's willingness to stage such debates (which in most cases they refused to do), but this still needs to be supplemented by a House Business Committee so that all the business taken in the Chamber has to be negotiated between the Executive and the Legislature.
