Captain America: The Winter Soldier is a sequel to both Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers, two
of the best
of the Marvel series
of movies to come
out, and manages to rank
right among them in terms
of sheer entertainment value and thoughtful
comic - book execution.
When she indulges in an outburst, lashing
out at the polite euphemisms
of the principal who doesn't think her kid is the «
right fit» at an elite private school, it's not cheap
comic catharsis — there's genuine pain and fear behind it.
Miller edits the film using a visually appealing
comic - book paneled style, as if the film were ripped
right out of the illustrated pages
of Punk magazine (the publication's origin itself exists as a prominent subplot
of the film), which was one
of the main publications that wrote at length on the CBGB scene at the time.

Injustice 2 comes in a year chock full
of Fighting games coming
out left and
right and I can say without a doubt that Injustice 2 deserves a spot on any
comic fan or fighting fans gaming shelf.
Given the period
of history Ferguson has set his
comic its understandable that he's going for this style
of speech, so it's absolutely
right to point
out that a sense
of distaste for the cliché High Fantasy style
of speech is a very personal thing, one that I've gained over the years
of reading fantasy books.
