range of surf for every skill level; left handers,
right handers, barrels and challenging
waves, the diversity is endless and you won't be disappointed on this surf trip adventure.
Waves can
range from 3 foot to 10 foot, it can be epic, the
right is similar to HT's in Indo, without the crowd / boat factor.
There is a wide
range of left and
right breaking
waves ranging from mellow beach breaks and points to gnarly reef breaks.
We had excellent surf throughout the trip it
ranged in size from 2ft to at least 6ft on one occasion the
waves themselves consisted of mainly
rights which were quite easy to surf the take offs were generally slow, however the speed increased considerably after take off.
This morning's 6.45 AM surf check on the Outer Reefs was still only showing
wave height in the 2 - 3ft +
range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left /
Right.
During the dry season, the tide is of mid
range with powerful
waves that break
right and left over a sandy bottom.
This mornings mandatory surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing
wave height to be still holding in the 2 - 4ft +
range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left and
Right.
Well yesterday
wave height on the Outer reefs had dropped
right back into the 1 - 2ft +
range and with a strong off shore wind on it wasn't looking to attractive.
Definitely not flat by any means with still some solid
waves ranging in the head to well over head high class between Kuta Reef and Airport Left /
Right.
So as it shows in today's photo gallery we hit the road for Canggu, arriving at 7.45 AM to find
wave height a little bigger in the 2 - 4ft
range with the odd slightly bigger freak set hitting the bombie and the
right hander.
And
right on que did we have a new swell fireing through
waves in the head to double head high
range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left.

wave height is still down in the 2 - 3ft +
range here on the island of the Gods.

wave height in the 1 - 3ft

Anyway according to the crew over in camp this years season has been pretty well non stop perfect
ranging from head high
waves for anyone,
right through into the triple head high class for the serious tube riders.

By cherry - picking a few successful (mostly) long
range weather forecasts, you neatly imply that climate predictions are just a really, really long
range weather forecast, and so while possibly
right, most likely they will fall prey to all this «uncertainty» you
wave around.
