roads are smooth enough to go into
Track mode, at which point its super-sharp
and very, very rapid.

mode acts as a deft invisible hand that keeps you

The best racetrack mix is the differential in «auto minus» for smooth
roads; the throttle left in «intelligent»
mode, allowing the least jerky modulation of the accelerator;
and the traction / stability control in
track mode, which allows plenty of yaw
and still gives you active torque vectoring.
We tried the F - Type with stability control off through a couple of roundabouts
and on an open
road garnished with two or three hairpins, but then we duly switched back to
track mode.
A new circuit creator is among the features, with a GPS
mode that allows you to use a smartphone to
track your favourite driving
road and then let the game recreate the twists
and turns.
Both cars feature Bilstein dampers, though the GTS has standard two -
mode adjustable units with a softer - than - SRT
road setting
and a firmer - than - SRT
track setting.

It made a big difference lapping the Rockingham Speedway
track and should also help on twisty country
roads; in commuting with sport
modes, you'll just feel the potholes more.
Braking was well up to the task
and the RC body felt unquestionably solid in all conditions,
and although we couldn't feel much difference between the multi-plate clutch - operated torque vectoring (rear) differential settings on
track, the four transmission
modes made noticeable changes to the car's performance when not using the gearshift paddles on the
road, where it was slow to downshift in Normal setting.
A new optional MagneRide Damping System quickly responds to changing
road conditions,
and two new selectable Drive
Modes — Drag Strip Mode
and customizable My Mode — join the Normal, Sport,
Track and Snow / Wet
Modes.
Three off -
road modes - «Sand,» «Trail,»
and «Rock» - are available when driving off the beaten
track.
There are four riding
modes on the S (
Road, Rain, Sport
and Custom) while the RS gets an additional
Track mode.

modes on the Levante have also been upgraded to include launch control

mode to complement the Normal, Sport, I.C.E.
and Off

Truth be told, there's not a huge difference in ride quality between «comfort,» «normal,»
and «
track»
modes, but that's all right: here's a car that's less punishing than you'd expect on public
roads, even with the system on its most aggressive setting.
Although Sport + may be best suited for the race
track, we found Comfort
and Sport
modes to be fine on -
road performers, with the former
mode favoring a smoother ride
and the latter
mode discouraging body - roll in turns.
The different driving
modes of the Huracán can be selected via a driving dynamics selector switch in the steering wheel - from traction - oriented on the
road to extreme performance on the race
track, with three setups of the dynamics system: STRADA, SPORT
and CORSA.
Our car was equipped as such,
and offers three
modes (comfort, dynamic
and auto) that are all fairly firm, though dynamic is notably stiffest
and probably best reserved for the smoothest
roads or
track usage only.
If you aren't taking it to the
track or a glass - smooth back
road, do your body a favor
and leave it in Comfort
mode.
Things get much livelier in Sport
and Track modes, the latter of which you definitely don't want to use on public
roads.
