likes defenders who know how to attack and maybe vice versa... i do nt think we will be losing an attacking option as you say because i believe it could be the opposite... Schneiderlin starting and playing
Arteta role.
There were suggestions from other quarters that he can even be made
like Cazorla and
Arteta who were converted into deep playmakers as he has many of the qualities possessed by these two that made them such revelation in their new
roles.
He is not Coquelin though in a sense that he isn't as extremely fast and mobile, and for that reason he needs somebody
like Rambo, who covers a lot of ground and does his share of running, while Chambers does his
Arteta role of screening the defence and passing out of it.
He has taken on the «
Arteta role» superbly although I regret it means he can't have as many goals or assists as he would have
liked from the deeper
role.
It certainly was but with so many players now competing for central midfield, including the
likes of
Arteta, Wilshere, Ox, Rosicky and even Diaby, will Cazorla's versatility mean that he does not always get to play in his best
