Every year in the fall our chapter holds the popular Emerald City Writers» Conference, which is currently the largest
romance writing conference on the west coast.
How many romances show us a story without an HEA (that's Happily Ever After for those who haven't darkened the door of
a romance writing conference lately)?

romance writing community is famously supportive, and the RWA
conference is a chance for writers who have been sending emails back and forth for months to finally meet in person.
Well, the
writing hasn't gone so well in August 2016 in terms of word count, but I've attended the fantastic
Romance Writers of New Zealand
Conference, and read some outstanding novels:
