There is room for a small pic on the wall, a pretty tooled silver box which holds tea bags and a small lavender plant (faux for now), and the bottom shelf of the narrow cabinet to the right of the range and above the coffee maker is adequate storage for extra mugs right now.

We can't post pics of the room we shot until after the issue they're (potentially) in comes out, (hint: it's not any of the rooms in the photo above!)

Here are a few more before pics — The room was barely big enough for a queen bed and the dresser you see above, but it also held all of our coats and tons of other junk we managed to cram in there (linens, our iron, shoes, etc.) Pete and I thoroughly edited our coat collection, tossed the 10 + year old mattress, and gave the extra bedding to friends and family.

Here's an OLD pic that shows the «sea of drywall» (SOD) that's still alive and kickin» above the tub and toilet on that side of the room...

So to save money when they were remodeling a 100 year old farm house, they did one room with barn wood, and then the family room half way up the wall with a pic rail above.
