Could I use
rosewater instead?
:D The recipe comes from DH magazine # 36 — the only change I made was to use
rosewater instead of orange blossom water.

Spraying it with rose water
instead of actual water would be my tip — because
rosewater is not as drying.
This had the feel of all those photographs from American magazines, the kind Yitzhak had peeled through while sitting in a white - walled sanitorium somewhere west of London, with nurses who smelled of
rosewater and bleach, and who never once showed an excess of pity for all those dreadful things that had happened but
instead very kindly — very sternly — said it was a good time to be on the mend, time to push on, it wasn't much good thinking about anyway, and weren't the photographs of America quite lovely?
