If the cause of the problem is
a rotted subfloor under the toilet, that repair can and should be made as part and parcel of the toilet repair.
I'm talking about dropping floating laminates over
rotted subfloors, repairing broken / rotted water lines with sink / toilet compression hoses, glue - on tub surrounds over broken / rotted / molded drywall, etc..

The tile on the floor and walls in my bathroom is black and turquoise, the
subfloor underneath the tub is
rotted, and we know there's water damage to some of the drywall behind the shower but don't know the full extent of it.
And a
rotting or crooked
subfloor means the new flooring will wear faster and look unattractive.
