royale concept is that you never know what you will have to work with, and balancing that is difficult.

Similarly, they might not have created the
concept for battle
royale, but if rumors are to be believed, the mode might just make an appearance in Red Dead Redemption 2.

royale modes or should I say where does it originate from??? Well certainly neither of these devs do.
Just because Bluehole put in some of their own
concepts and changed the name from Free for all to Battle
Royale, does not mean they created the battle
royale genre.
The only redeeming thing about Down to One is its basic premise, but then battle
royales are better executed in the likes of Rust and DayZ, games that aren't even built around the
concept.

A feature of this kind that will allow players to purchase weapons will most likely be controversial to parts of the community, as it is something we have never seen before in a battle
royale game and looks to go against the genre's core
concept of fighting with what weapons you are able to scavenge.
The inherent
concept of a 99 vs 1 battle
royale is extremely compelling and has lead to some of my favourite multiplayer gaming moments of 2017 (more on this later).
