Twenty recreational runners consumed either cherry juice or a placebo for five days before
running a
marathon, then again on race day, and for two days
afterward as well.
Kudos to you for
running a
marathon — I completed a half -
marathon with my dad this spring and nearly keeled over
afterward, I couldn't imagine doing that distance AGAIN!
