run then ensure your first 5 - 10 minutes is used to warm up (the idea is to start slow and work your way up so you break a sweat) and not just go straight into your HIIT routine etc..

because it assists you, you don't use your calves as much.
Sometimes I prefer doing my cardio
on a
treadmill because I can track my speed and see if I'm improving (especially for
running).
And then we end up feeling overwhelmed, tired and
run - down
because all we can see is the activity and energy it's taking to get anywhere, and we feel like we're
on a
running treadmill and about to fall off.
