One of the best parts about being a book blogger is getting to know the folks who
run other book sites and blogs.

Book Reader Magazine was started as a labor of love once I had the 2
other sites running well.
Author Jim Hanas removed the Amazon button from his website sending readers to
other retailers and social networking

ran a sale on
books yanked from Amazon.
I have a blog called In All Directions (because I never know what I might like to blog about) and I have a promo
site that I
run called Awesome Romance Novels where I promote
other authors» romance
books.
That said, you'll still
run into
other possibilities, and many
sites who aren't traditional
book review
sites willing to review your
book because it's a «content match» (i.e. mommy bloggers, political
sites, etc.), so maintaining a list of these folks as you happen upon them will be critical once it's pitch time.
Can you suggest any good
books /
sites / resources on how to set them up to best advantage and how to
run them and do the accounting and fulfill the
other requirements?
