And our incredible
rustic planked ceiling, which took us weeks to figure out — and a VERY LONG weekend to put up and paint --(can't wait to share that tutorial soon!)
So for now, I want to show you how I finished this important piece of the kitchen remodel, with
a rustic planked ceiling, and show you some things you'll want to make sure you do — and some things to make sure you don't do — if you ever decide to try it!
Not exact matches
The fireplace connects the lounge to the main dining area, where chevron patterned wood
plank ceilings and textured stone walls follow a
rustic theme.
The Italian heritage came to life in many ways including: porcelain
plank flooring,
rustic beam wood in the
ceilings to look like an Italian farmhouse, custom wall murals celebrating the town of Siena, and a rough stone fireplace.
The beamed,
planked ceiling speaks to the home's
rustic, Mediterranean - inspired vibe, while white trim and gauzy sheers bring softness to the space.
Stunning kitchen with
rustic accents boasts Bentwood Counter Stools placed in front of a white island topped with a marble countertop fitted with an undermount sink and polished nickel antique faucet kit illuminated by iron and glass hourglass lanterns hung from a stained
plank ceiling and fixed facing a metal French hood mounted between windows above an integrated cooktop.
Bay windows framed by a white wood
plank wall are positioned above a vintage freestanding bathtub matched with a polished nickel floor mount tub filler lit by a lantern hung from a
ceiling fitted with
rustic wood beams.
Wood
ceiling panels or
planks can be a great way to add a
rustic, farmhouse touch from above.
Other Italian influences include
rustic exposed
ceiling beams, terracotta surfaces, 18th - century Italian tiles, wide wood flooring
planks and a classic barrel - tiled roof.
The
rustic wood would be fine if they love, but although I LOVE alot of
planking, the
ceiling is too much for me with that wall.
But since it's easier to rip down that it is to put up, we spent waaaay too long staring at the beyond -
rustic planks and the hole in the
ceiling where the light once was.
i would love some
plank walls and / or
ceilings... would also love some
rustic beams in my den....
The master bedroom features natural wood -
plank ceiling, architectural accents and closets concealed behind
rustic barn doors.
