Hand - selected corn from local Kentucky
and Indiana farms, along with other grains such as
rye, wheat
and malted barley are brought in daily by the truckload.
Raw ingredients include wheat,
rye and malted barley, all from Virginia.
Rye is crafted using a unique 70 %
rye, 18 % corn
and 12 %
malted barley grain bill giving the whiskey a clean, sweet tone at the tip of the tongue with a more distinct
and slightly shorter than other Single Barrel offerings.
We produce 100 % natural, instant, spray dried bulk of: chicory, green coffee bean extract,
barley,
barley malt, roasted
barley malt and rye.
The first mash bill contains 48 % winter
rye, 40 % corn,
and 12 %
malted barley and the second reflects a traditional bourbon mash bill of 68 % corn, 20 % winter
rye,
and 12 %
malted barley.
The E. H. Taylor Four Grain was made from a distinct bourbon recipe using corn,
rye, wheat,
and malted barley.
We floor
malt and micro
malt our
barley and rye at the Farmstead
Malt House in Tygh Valley; kiln, cool
and bale our hops at our farm in Independence; as well as roast
and smoke our
malts and jalapeños at our Brewery in Newport, Oregon.
With farms in Independence
and Tygh Valley, Oregon — Rogue Ales & Spirits is an agricultural based brewery
and distillery, growing more than a dozen ingredients for its beers
and spirits including seven varieties of hops, two varieties of
malting barley,
rye, honey, pumpkins, jalapeños
and marionberries.
3) Bourbon Stout (330 ml, 7.4 % ABV): New for 2013, this is a red stout brewed with I&G ale
malt,
rye crystal, roast
barley and wheat
and matured slowly over bourbon - infused oak.
It's a natural caffeine free drink that's blended with
malted barley, chicory,
and rye.
