A
blocked sahasrara will result in an almost complete lack of direction and an inability to set and achieve goals, regardless of their importance or personal meaning to you.
When awakened, it rises through a central energy channel called sushumna nadi, pierces and purifies each of the chakras or energy centers on its way until it reaches
the sahasrara chakra at the crown of the head where it explodes into a thousand petalled lotus of radiant light.
And then you have
sahasrara, which is your crown chakra, which is located on the top of your head.
Once it reaches the sevent h chakra or
sahasrara one attains yoga's ultimate goal of spiritual enlightenment.
It is the channel through which kundalini shakti (the latent serpent power)-- and the higher spiritual consciousness it can fuel — rises up from its origin at the muladhara (root) chakra to its true home at
the sahasrara (thousandfold) chakra at the crown of the head.
The sahasrara most commonly becomes blocked due to any life event or circumstance which closes the mind, making the person overly skeptical and unwilling or unable to think beyond what is directly in front of them.
Healing
the sahasrara can fortunately be achieved by various different methods.
Now mindfulness meditation is not confined to the healing of
the sahasrara.
