People with morbid
obesity (defined as a body mass index above 40) have a metabolic disease too complicated to treat with just
drugs, diet or exercise; and most will regain weight lost through those methods, he
says.

drugs against
obesity and other appetite - related disorders, the researchers

obesity,»

drugs can increase the risk of
obesity in adults, it is unknown whether a woman's antidepressant use during pregnancy increases the risk of metabolic disturbances in her children,» Holloway

obesity, in the offspring.

obesity at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital,

drugs that could work within the gut and strengthen satiety signals from there.

drug class can make human beta cells proliferate at levels that may be relevant for diabetes treatment,»

obesity and insulin resistance in part by resolving chronic inflammation and increasing energy expenditure, but that's not the whole story of the
drug's effects,»

Recently the
drug industry, desperate to uncover a solution to
obesity,

Drugs that target this protein may one day help fight
obesity,
says lead researcher Jeffrey Gordon, a molecular biologist at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

drug molecules that could serve as potential therapeutic agents against
obesity,» Liew
said.
Matthias Tschöp, an
obesity researcher at the University of Cincinnati,
says understanding how NAPE affects our appetite for fat would hopefully lead to new
drugs that muzzle hunger, without eliminating it.
Students more likely to participate in free - and reduced - price lunch programs are among the same populations most likely to suffer from
obesity and related health risks,
said Janet Peckham, an economist in the Office of the Commissioner at the U.S. Food and

obesity and metabolic syndrome.
