day I'm going to enjoy eating iceberg lettuce again but I think I am
too underwhelmed with my history of terrible
salad bars and equally depressing «house»
salads.

In fact it does have the Ambrosia elements, fruits, smells textures, sweet, salty, acidic, juicy, creamy, crunchy all the components that make a
salad a memorable meal, and the kind of
salad you will crave the next
day and perhaps the next weekend
too.
You could probably use edamame beans
too - I just made a fantastic
salad the other
day with them.

This meal - size warm
salad comes together quickly after a long
day of shopping and won't leave you
too stuffed to tackle an after - dinner gift - wrapping session.
The
salad was great for left overs the next
day too, so that was a bonus!
The down side to this pasta when making pasta
salad is it can be
too firm and taste dried out the next
day if not well coated in dressing.

I don't count my carbs down to grams and percentage, but I
too average two «
salads as big as my head» a
day, and I eat a lot of gluconeogenic protein and plenty of carb - containing nuts.
On those
days when it's just
too hot to even think about cooking, a nice soba

Certain fruits like berries shouldn't be washed
too far in advance or they can mold, so if you are adding them to your fruit

My takeaway... A small mixed greens
salad each night with dinner is probably beneficial to our health, but a massive greens

day, every single

too much and may cause problems with
too much oxalic acid.
I'm 54 yr old female... I take 2 TBSP of ground organic flax each
day... hope it's not
TOO much regarding the cadmium... so easy to include in Greek yogurt, oatmeal, or on a green
salad, etc..
When I'm NOT eating healthy on some vacation and / or picnic
days, I will have foods like breaded scallops, crabcakes, burgers and mayo based pasta
salads, coleslaw and
too many Miller Lites as a few examples.
