I am no Scholar but, I believe God has the power to change prophecy the way that he did with Hezekiah, his intentions for a perfect people in the beginning changed due to disobedience so who's to say our men or intended leadership has overall been disobedient, and many women have been forced to lead and in that leading women have been more obedient.We all need each other if my husband was a pastor and I'm his help mate if he for some reason can't teach or preach who else other than myself would be the closest to him.I don't believe GOD changes he's always the
same but, he does have the power to make changes and he does not need our permission to do so, instead
of debating back and forth over our version
of the Bible we should be sure we have the Holy Spirit and real relationship with GOD because he will reveal to us his
truths but, please know he's not the
author of confusion
The word
of God is
authored to allow those inclined towards God to find
truth and at the
same time those who seek to disprove God will find all the justification they need to trash Christ and His followers.
If the Holy Spirit is the
author of truth, then why does he tell some pastors that speaking in tongues is a gift to be used today, while at the
same time telling another pastor that speaking in tongues is a bad thing?
At the
same time, it is to be borne in mind that «[since] everything asserted by the inspired
authors or sacred writers must be held to be asserted by the Holy Spirit, it follows that the books
of Scripture must be acknowledged as teaching solidly, faithfully and without error that
truth which God wanted put into sacred writings for the sake
of salvation» (DV, 11).
The sad
truth is that the
same attitudes that prevented a number
of authors from publishing before the digital and print - on - demand revolutions still permeate some libraries.
Telling the traditional publishing the establishment the
same home
truths we at Mad Genius Club have been banging on about for years... Did you ever hear the like from Scott Turow (former president
of the
Author's Guild) or John Scalzi (former president
of SFWA), or Roxana Robinson (the current President
of Authors Guild)-- which I'll talk about later) Or Stephen Gould, the current SFWA president?
I'm continually impressed by how transparent and authentic much
of the self - publishing community is — because the
truth is, most
of us are just writers who self - published early and learned the game (we made all the mistakes the first time around, got better at everything through years
of hard work and practice, and now mostly try to help other
authors avoid the
same challenges).
