The first steps in making this version are pretty much the
same as when making regular coconut butter, except this time, we're not only adding unsweetened shredded coconut to the
bowl of our
food processor, we're also adding coconut oil and a little bit of salt.
Rinse out the blender or
food processor and add the cornstarch and another 1/4 cup of the milk; combine until smooth, and add to the
same bowl.
While cake is baking, make the frosting by adding the Frosting ingredients to a
food processor (use the
same bowl, no need to rinse) and processing until smooth.
This baby
food processor can blend and cook in the
same bowl.
Either chop the spinach mixture quite finely by hand and combine with the drained, crumbled ricotta, Parmesan, parsley, the 3 beaten eggs and a good seasoning of salt and pepper in a mixing
bowl, or put the
same ingredients in a
food processor and pulse a few times to chop and combine.
