If you've noticed, there is an increasing number of «healthy» and «all natural» snacks on the market today, but once you look closely at the labels, you'll find
the same grains and sugars that you're trying your hardest to avoid.

Many people could raise their general level of wellness at the
same time they enhance their appearance
and self - image, by doing two things — drastically reducing or eliminating the intake of junk food, refined
sugar,
and other carbohydrates, saturated fats, alcohol,
and nicotine;
and adding more healthful foods to their diets including vegetable proteins, whole -
grain cereals
and bread, raw vegetables
and fruits,
and high fiber foods.
I'm not here to judge anyone that does grab a treat from that grocery aisle or grabs brownies / cupcakes from the nearest bakery BUT if you could have the
same fulfillment with a
grain & gluten free treat, made without processed
sugar and extra ingredients that absolutely don't have to be there, then why not make ones that are a bit «healthier», if you will?

grain bread has the
same amount of carbs (which are processed into
sugar in your body), whole gain is processed slower
and more gently, due to the fiber.
In the
same way that whole
grain bread creates a favorable baby - making environment, brown rice supports healthy body weight
and stable blood

same way refined

same and most developed countries are following kind of a standard American diet — processed
grains,
sugars, conventional pasteurized dairy, meats that are not organic, they contain hormones
and antibiotics.
i do nt take supplements,
sugars (even fruits),
grains or dairies... i stick to only organic meats, fish
and all green veg which sounds the
same / similar to the Paleo diet, although this is the first time i have come across it.
Perhaps even more overwhelming than those on the SAD diet, as I often see vegans making the
same mistakes as every other unhealthy eater but with even more restrictions
and limitations, refined
grains,
sugar, beans,
and processed soy making up the bulk of the diet.
However, these
same products contained significantly more
sugar and calories compared to the products without the Whole
Grain stamp.
Unfortunately, there are many individuals who became vegetarians or vegans only to supplement animal foods with plant ones but at the
same time they still consume refined
sugar, white flour products, refined
grains and pasta or even harmful stimulants.
Yet another example of the
same dietary advice not being good for everyone (
and one big reason why, despite the prevalence of diet books, we have failed so miserably at controlling the obesity epidemic), is the wild variation in blood
sugar response that can occur when subjects in controlled dietary studies eat foods like cookies, bananas, sushi
and whole -
grain bread.
Again, you can achieve the
same, or better, result by simply reducing your insulin levels by eliminating
sugar and most
grains.
If we haven't had a diet high in
sugar, these vegetable
and grain carbs don't affect us in the
same way.
If you are eating a diet that is high in
sugar and grains — this is the
same type of diet that will also increase inflammation in your body — as the
sugar gets metabolized in fat cells, fat releases surges in leptin.
The simple starches (which includes some of the root vegetables such as potatoes as well as rice
and many
grains) metabolize very quickly to
sugar,
and tend to have the
same metabolic effect if overdone.
Now, I do the
same, but will opt - out of using
sugar (I'm kind of loving how Lakanto sweetener works)
and go
grain - free when possible.
