We often see
the same old blog posts, clickbait headlines, and unintelligible Vine videos popping up in our feeds and it can make us wonder if this is what the future of advertising looks like.

I got the distinct impression (from
older of your
blog posts I believe) that you and New Directions took a fairly solid «side B» stance, that
same - sex acts were sin, and that a large portion of your ministry was devoted solely to gay Christians who took a firm decision on the celibacy route (albeit with a much greater amount of respect and acceptance for those who chose to partner.)
Things have been pretty hectic around here, hence the lack of
blog posts but isn't that always the
same old story?
The solution is to either keep repeating
old stuff which seems to be the eventually outcome of all blogging activity or change the format altogether, or — one can hope — that
blog readers stop thinking of blogging as a newspaper and treat
old posts the
same as they would new ones.
It's also quite a big step from not excepting the science to spending lonely nights
posting the
same old discredited memes on
blog sites or swamping online newspaper comment threads.
Great
post... I wrote about this very
same thing over at the FLOR
blog earlier this week (which means I actually wrote about it 2 weeks ago:) I was inspired by attempting to back cookies with my son who is 19 months
old and failing to have the quintessential mommy blogger experience.
Melissa... this is why I follow your
blog... I have been doing the
same thing in my house this year... after a couple of years of cancer and treatments I am in remission and re-evaluating our house and how we use it... last month saw a «cleaning out» if you will and a huge yard sale... now I am ready to rip up our carpets and get down the wood floors... my husband during all this has been quite accomodating — our kids are
older and we definitely do nt use our house the
same way any more... I sent our dining room table and buffet to the basement which gives us alot more space in our living area — we only used it on holidays anyway and now our dining room is an extension of our livingroom with more seating — thanks for explaining your reasoning so eloquently — I'm going to show my husband your
post and maybe now he will understand what I am trying to achieve with our whole house overhaul!
