Total volume is down 23.5 percent from
the same week last year.
In the Eagle Ford, the number of rigs dropped to 68 from 71 last week, but is up by 31 rigs from the 37 rigs for
the same week last year.
The volumes moved to Patoka were 35.2 % below the year - ago week, while volumes moved to Cushing were 17.8 % less than
the same week last year.
Arrests for the previous week (Jan. 19 - Jan. 25) are 5 percent higher than
the same week last year.
And summonses are only 7 percent lower than
the same week last year.
Nintendo managed to sell 101k Wii U units this week, which is staggering considering
the same week last year, Nintendo only managed to move 48k in the same week.
8 546 units were sold this week: that's about 3 times less than during
the same week last year.
Compared to
the same week last year, the Nintendo 3DS is finally up Year on Year with 55 124 units in 2015 vs 38 759 units in 2014.
Nintendo 3DS sales also increased during Week 1, but they're only half of what they were during
the same week last year.
It sold 6 354 units this week, which is roughly 3 times less than during
the same week last year (roughly the same ratio as the months before the Golden Week).
The drop compared to
the same week last year is still big (about 16 000 units), but it does look like sales are not going to go down much lower in the near future.
Unadjusted, the index decreased 8.9 % from the previous week, and 0.6 % from
the same week last year.
