Characters set their weapons down before entering areas they and we know are overrun by
zombies; they hide their desires from each other just so the director can milk fake tension from a scene; they run and jump and all sound the
same.
«The Girl with All the Gifts» is based on a book of the
same, where the writer most likely stole a few pages out of «The Walking Dead» playbook, incorporating emotion,
character study, and morality into the
zombie genre.
Like their leafy counterparts, the
zombie characters are broken into classes and feature the
same level of customization, progression and unique special abilities.
Rarely did the
characters question the absurdity they faced either in the hordes of
zombies or the enemies that survived, and adopted that
same madness.
I find it as hilarious as the next person that there are murderous, flesh - eating
zombies gadding about in string bikinis, but does every single female
character have to wear the exact
same bikini?
I don't mind the whole wannabe
zombie thing again, but this game even uses the
same types of specific
characters (chainsaw - wielding
zombies, for example) which really turned me off on top of the crappy controls... innovation is subjective, as we see.
Death Road to Canada starts with the
same premise every run: The main
character has heard that Canada is one of the last remaining places safe from the threat of
zombies.
The mode will also feature weapons and
characters from across the Black Ops Franchise, meaning that Campaign
characters like Hudson and Woods will be facing off against
characters from
Zombies like Richtofen and from Multiplayer like Ruin all at the
same time.
Whilst playing I soon realised if more than one
zombie attacks you at the
same time your
character freezes or slows down to a point you can't retreat and end up dying, on top of that the general flow whilst playing feels rather clunky and unfinished, you should be able to see that by my preview video above.
Not only does it feel unrelated to Dead Island (Max is a brand new
character with zero relation to the two other games here and it doesn't even feature the
same zombie designs), it's also super repetitive.

same: survive and escape by killing
zombies, crafting elaborate weapons out of junk, and developing the skills of your
