Essentially the same method as tossing with a sauce, I was just making my own
sauce out of butter and spices.
Not exact matches
For example at home Ella and Matthew eat lots
of bowls
of porridge with almond
butter, warming veggie stews with lots
of spices served over brown rice, chocolatey energy balls and rye toast with honey, but when they go
out Matthew loves a pizza followed by ice cream with extra chocolate
sauce!
I added a tablespoon
of some cashew nut
butter I made, and injected them with homemade salted caramel
sauce after scooping
out the cookie dough.
Add a pinch
of salt and pull
out the onion at the end, and you're left with a bright, velvety tomato
sauce with a rich roundness from the
butter.
Cream room temperature
butter and brown sugar together for 5 — 8 minutes / Add egg & milk mixture (w / extracts) a little at a time until fully incorporated / By hand or with mixer on lowest speed, alternately add flour and buttermilk until just incorporated — don't overmix at this point for the tenderest cake / By hand gently stir in 2 — 3 cups
of rhubarb
sauce so that it swirls through the batter / Place in a 9 - inch square or 10 - inch round pan coated with just a little
butter and flour / Sprinkle evenly with chopped almonds (or, use local hazelnuts instead, or omit the nuts) / Bake at 325º for about an hour, until skewer comes
out clean when tested / Macrina Bakery dusts the cake with powdered sugar and coarsely chopped almonds / Cake is tender until completely cooled so handle with care.
But
of all the unique and wonderful dinners we've made, one
of the stand -
outs is our sweet potato gnocchi with Italian sausage in a brown
butter sage
sauce.
In a mere half an hour, you'll get to work
out your aggression pounding pork chops thin, hear the satisfying sizzle
of the meat hitting the pan, pour an irresistible caper
butter sauce over a platter
of golden brown cutlets, and then dig in.
But pasta covered in a
sauce made
out of peanut
butter — I don't think most kids would turn that down.
I could drink Asian peanut dipping
sauces or dressings, but peanut
butter ice cream, peanut
butter on veggies, or a big spoonful
out of the container... yuck!
I went all
out and did a chocolate
sauce (chocolate chips, a bit
of butter and corn syrup), topped it off with blackberries and it was fab!!
Luckily, NP took
out half the work by creating the most delicious
Butter Chicken
Sauce that is free
of any kind
of preservatives or artificial ingredients.
But, I've also seen jarred caramel
sauce at stores
out of the fridge that contain only milk, sugar and
butter, so I perhaps my information is off.
Also experimented with an oil - free
sauce which turned
out really well: Juice
of 1 Meyer Lemon, 1 Garlic Clove, 1 Handful
of Raw Cashews, 1 Tablespoon
of Raw Almond
Butter, 2 Tablespoons
of Low Sodium Tamari, 1 Jalapeño, 1 Handful
of Spinach, and 2 Handfuls
of Fresh Basil.
Have you not checked this
out you really should think about it, because there are tons
of good recipes in addition to tomato

sauce.
I made this
sauce as directed It was good but I could still get that Cocoa taste I mulled on it for a bit took it
out if the fridge put it in a
sauce pan and added the following 1 tablespoon unsalted
butter 1 tablespoon light corn syrup and the other 2 ounces
of a 4 ounce giradelle bittersweet bar
of chocolate I let it melt and kept it stirred it is FANTASTIC The cocoa powder taste is gone the consistency is perfect Love it Thank you

of croutons, pan grilled or crisped cheese, and

of - the - box dressings such as Sriracha mixed in plain yogurt, peanut
butter mixed in orange juice or even cold spaghetti
sauce.
The big favorite in satay
sauce, this peanut
butter's «dark, roasted flavor» — helped by the addition
of molasses — stood
out particularly well against the other heady ingredients, and it made cookies with «nice sweet - salty balance.»
Once tender take immersion blender and blend pears until they puree into a
sauce; stir in cinnamon and sugar and let boil, stir puree every 5 minutes until the moisture is

I simply switched
out the
butter for apple
sauce, the milk for almond milk (for my dairy sensitive stomach) and I added the prunes to the pancake mixture instead
