Worse, people end up double - and triple - guessing the game designer's
savepoint placement, sometimes missing important save points entirely and having to replay large chunks of the game.
You can quit during a private gate and save your progress, but you can't revert to any sort
of savepoint once you're dead.
This means, from the time you spawned at your checkpoint /
savepoint, to the time you play the game, and if again things don't go your way, you revert back to the savepoint.
