Android 8.1 brings some welcome refinements to Oreo, including reducing the storage footprint of inactive apps, enhanced autofill capabilities like
saving login credentials for various apps and the activation of the special «Visual Core» image - processing chip in the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.
The feature is called Smart Lock for Passwords, which will automatically sign you in to compatible applications, as long as you've
saved your login credentials into Chrome.

Each time you sign up for a new account that requires a password you can quickly open the document to store and
save your new
login credentials.
This is done when you first enter
login details and Chrome displays a dialogue box with the option to
save your
credentials.
For example, if Chrome has your Twitter or Facebook
login credentials saved, the app will autofill and
login on your Android phone.
There's also the added bonus of a one - tap
login via notifications for your LastPass vault, which should
save you some time whenever you require access to
saved credentials.
