When
I saw Hyrule Warriors for the first time, I was thinking that this will be a pleasant addition to the Wii U catalog but nothing more.
It wasn't the only reason, but
seeing Hyrule Warriors for the first time was when I first realized I really wanted a Wii U.
See Hyrule Warriors: Legends
2014 is also going to
see Hyrule Warriors, a game that makes me seethe with rage.

Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition lacks the Performance / Quality Mode options
seen in Fire Emblem
Warriors, though unlike in that game where I found playing local multiplayer in Quality Mode to be borderline unplayable, I never had that problem in
Hyrule Warriors, even when playing split screen, and the resolution appears to be better than what FEW's Performance Mode was, too.
However, this is no mere re-skinning of their previous games, and just as with
Hyrule Warriors they've
seen fit to bring in a huge number of elements from the Fire Emblem universe, making it feel like it truly belongs.
Not top performance, as we
see with Fire Emblem
Warriors and
Hyrule Warriors Wii U (though my cousin and I still enjoyed it, and didn't notice anything game breaking).
While it certainly doesn't have the same historical reach as
Hyrule Warriors maintained, with half the series not translated for western audiences, it's clear to
see why they focused on the more recent and popular games.
Something that many people wanted to
see and was shown is
Hyrule Warriors.
Having said that
Hyrule Warriors is not your typical Nintendo focused IP so I don't
see it making a big comeback in Japan for week on week sales.
I don't think WiiU has quite hit the 2 million mark just yet, but it HAS been gaining momentum in Japan over the last two months and I
see it getting bigger with the upcoming release of
HYRULE WARRIORS, BAYONETTA, and other such stuff.
It's achieved almost 700k sold in Japan and despite other Wii U games like
Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, and Fatal Frame 5 missing from the charts shortly after release, the Wii U
saw a small bump in sales.
I dislike EA, and kind of dislike Ubisoft as of late, but third parties need to read into these numbers and
see that there is potential for sales with the Wii U. Nintendo's willingness to merge their franchises with other franchises is what will sell third party games on the Wii U and I have no idea why companies are not trying to do what
Hyrule Warriors is doing.
If
Hyrule Warriors and Bayo 2, also with Fatal Frame + additional Kart sales keep the figure on a higher average than 6k a week we won't
see a return to pre Kart no's for some time, imo, if at all.
Yes, I'm actually eager to
see these charts once
Hyrule Warriors is released.
Hyrule Warriors was shown off at E3 this week, and while you have
seen the trailer for it as well as gameplay, static images allow you to look as long as you like.

seen quite a bit of
Hyrule Warriors footage over the last week or so thanks to E3 2014, but today, there's even more.
The Legend of Zelda's hack and slash off - shoot
Hyrule Warriors sees Link, Zelda, Impa and Midna battering massive waves of enemies across Nintendo's colourful world.
The animated cut - scenes are so gorgeous and flawless that they look and play like an anime movie and while the graphics may not completely carry over to when actually playing, the details are still HD and better than anything we have ever
seen in a Fire Emblem game and even puts
Hyrule Warriors to shame.
So far most of the footage we've
seen has been from the Japanese version, but now we've got some great footage from the US version of
Hyrule Warriors.

Hyrule Warriors, and Captain Toad on the horizon, here are the final few Wii U gems we'd love to
see on Switch.
Hyrule Warriors was expected to be something of a best seller in Japan, but as we
saw by last week's Media Create numbers, the game only managed to sell just shy of 70k copies during its first week available on the market.
We'll just have to
see if
Hyrule Warriors manages to do better in the West, where The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD did manage to sell 1 million copies shortly after release.
Should
see a decent boost in Japan when

saw «media create no's; x date to x date» and thought that gaming websites putting the title «
Hyrule Warriors» next to it, meant the timeframe applied to every game equally.
Hayashi believes the boss fights in Zela games are of a very high quality and that the team developing
Hyrule Warriors wouldn't be able to emulate them, so instead boss fights will
see the player face off against waves of smaller enemies to charge up a special meter and then attack the boss.
Hyrule Warriors was the first cross-over we
saw combining the characters and lore of The Legend of Zelda with Dynasty
Warriors mechanics.
I thoroughly enjoyed
Hyrule Warriors on Wii U, so I look forward to
seeing what Fire Emblem
Warriors has to offer.

see, is this crossover worth your money, or is it a cynical cash grab that you're better off skipping?

see what
Hyrule Warriors is really about in demo this June is great news.

see one of these collectibles outside of Japan for the Western release of the game.
When asked how he would imagine Mario incorporated into the genre, Koinuma mentions that Mario would need to branch away from the hand - to - hand fighting
seen in Smash and mentioned a few moves that will likely sound familiar to players of
Hyrule Warriors, or any Dynasty
Warriors inspired game.

Hyrule Warriors DLC pack, Twilight Princess, adds a playable version of Twili Midna, the final form of Midna
seen at the very end of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Hyrule Warriors may introduce a version of Link we've never

see a lot more of an under - appreciated character in the next
Hyrule Warriors DLC pack.
Impa is typically relegated to Zelda's attendant or bodyguard, but in
Hyrule Warriors we really get to
see her bust out and kick some ass.
Hyrule Warriors is out and the reviews are rolling in, and now it's our turn to look and
see whether the game lives up to the hype and whether or not it's the game for you.
After playing
Hyrule Warriors, I was eager to
see another Nintendo / Koei Tecmo collaboration.
Hyrule Warriors art direction is also fantastic and offers up some of the cleanest cutscenes I've ever
seen from a Koei - Tecmo title.
Like Tropical Freeze we're not
seeing a great amount of discounting on this one,
Hyrule Warriors is even more niche than Donkey Kong so it is to be expected.
Sadly, a handful of flaws combined with the relative obscurity of both the Dynasty
Warriors and Fire Emblem franchises, especially when compared to Zelda, prevent Fire Emblem
Warriors from
seeing the same success that
Hyrule Warriors did.
Seeing games like
Hyrule Warriors really makes me excited for what the first, built - for - these - consoles Musou game will look like.
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition runs like an absolute dream, featuring crisp load times, plenty of vibrant visuals, and the added bonus of
seeing no major drop when partaking in co-op.
