Sonic Adventure remains a classic among fans, and Generations showed that Sega still has some idea what they're doing.
I was happy to
see this trait return, as it's been pretty much standard for the series ever since
Sonic Adventure.

Sonic Adventure 2's reception was kind of mixed but it wasn't until Heroes that we started
seeing universal negative reviews.
Sonic himself is a 3D character model and he looks much cuter than when I last
saw him in
Sonic Adventures.
I think Mario games fit more under the genre of
adventure / Platform games along with the likes of
Sonic the Hedgehog, Donkey Kong Country, Rayman, Kirby, Alex Kidd, Wonderboy, Banjo Kazooie, Yooka - Laylee, Commander Keen, Skunny etc but it is good to
see it on the list.
What with
Sonic Adventures getting the re-release treatment, and the likes of Ico and Shadow of Colossus soon to be
seen in glorious HD, we at Dealspwn got rather nostalgic and began to wonder what games of old we'd most like to
see resurrected on our flat screens.
While I would like to
see 3D
Sonic return more to its «
Adventure» style roots or maybe branch out and try to do something like the
Sonic Utopia fan game, I can't / shouldn't sit here and bitch about what
Sonic * should * be — that's entirely up to SEGA and
Sonic Team.

Sonic Mania is simply the best
Sonic game since the SEGA Genesis days (
Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, Heroes and Colors were good to:D).
When he's not
adventuring with
Sonic, he can be
seen tinkering around in his workshop, either upgrading the Tornado, or building his next big invention.
The first
Sonic Adventure was a damn good game (it helped that those were the best console graphics I'd ever
seen when it came out), I actually beat it!
Delivering the definitive gaming experience for
Sonic fans old and new,
Sonic Generations
sees Sonic the Hedgehog playable as both the much loved classic 1991 character, and the modern day video game hero he has become in this exciting new fast paced
adventure.
These aren't the only recent additions to the backwards compatibility programme, as we also
saw titles like cult hit Earth Defense Force 2017,
Sonic Adventure 2 and Persona 4 Arena hitting the BC list.
I think i know what the motion control for the wii and ps3 is used for, i think its for the special stage which is alot like the special stage in
sonic 1 except you control the rotation, you can get a glimps of it in the trailer, watch the words «in 2010 the
adventure continues» an you will
see another video in the letters.
It looks no different then
Sonic Rush or Rivals, so I don't
see the point all the hype, calling the a game with the same style as
Sonic Rush by the title of
Sonic the Hedgehog 4 as well as using the current ugly neo designs for something that is supposed to be both before
Sonic Adventure and after
Sonic 3 & Knuckles as well as promoting it as the next installment in the Genesis / Mega Drive series.

it's ok if
Sonic hasn't his classical design, I liked the new design since
Sonic adventure for dreamcast (even though I was excited to
see again classic
Sonic, and I was expecting him to be here in this project, but it's still ok for me XD) the only thing that I dislike, it's the fact that the first zone has... something wrong.
Don't get me wrong I absolutely love and am thrilled that
Sonic 4 is a brand - new
adventure but I also would love to
see the classic levels with a modern twist.
Back in the early 2000s, when third party SEGA went into full swing, fans were
seeing the likes of Crazy Taxi on PS2,
Sonic Adventure on Gamecube, and Jet Set Radio «s sequel JSRF on the Xbox.
On the other hand, those who enjoyed
Sonic's more recent
adventures were teased with
Sonic Team's very own «Project
Sonic 2017,» bringing Modern
Sonic not only back to Boost - style gameplay last
seen in
Sonic Generations, but also to darker and more serious storytelling of the pre-Colors games.
Sonic Adventure saw a change in the basic format of the series: less straightforward paths comprised of collecting rings and killing baddies, in lieu of a more open - world
Sonic experience.
Sonic Adventure 2 can be
seen at 2:59 during the announcement trailer, making
Sonic Adventure 2 one of the many Xbox 360 titles playable...
But even in its original, Han - shoots - first glory,
Sonic Adventure is still a great showcase for how the series made the switch from 2D side - scrolling to a 3D open - world format that can still be
seen to this day in the newest
Sonic games on the PS3.
I definitely have some fond memories of
Sonic Adventure 2, and have thought about downloading it on XBLA to
see how it holds up.

sees a huge amount (over 40) of different fan artists and musicians contribute to one of the biggest remix albums ever.
I do have
Sonic Adventure already, but it is cool to
see a price drop for those who don't have it yet.
Also, if they were to throw
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle on there, I wouldn't be able to
see my still existing Chaos....
In the DS version of Mario &
Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, Dry Bowser is
seen working for Bowser and Dr. Eggman, who are trying to kidnap the Snow Spirits in the
Adventure Tours mode.
This is a simple game, but Colours's core is sweet, and it's just wonderful to
see Sonic in such a well - made
adventure again.
Sonic Retro user Morph and several others have gone through
Sonic Adventure DX and created a mod that restores the lighting effects that were previously
seen in the original
Sonic Adventure into the PC version.
Like the original game,
Sonic Adventure 2
sees the intertwining stories of multiple characters.
