school of trevallys we have been

fish and not to leave out we had a lovely encounter with an Eagle ray cruising down the end of Meno slope towards Bounty wreck.
At 40m deep, you will
see thousands of nudibranchs scattered all over the seabed as far as you can
see; this, together with large

There is plenty to
see diving between the two reef structures at depths ranging from 45 - 60 feet / 14 -18 mt. Sightings here could include southern stingrays and nurse sharks in the sandy bottom, spotted eagle rays, turtles,
schools of tarpons and a wide variety of smaller tropical reef
fish thriving around healthy corals.
The glass bottom boats take you over the reefs, where you can
see the beautiful colours of the coral, the
schools of
fish, and the turtles slowly munching on the algae.
One central pinnacle provides divers of all levels with the opportunity to also
see clownfish, lionfish and big
schools of damsel
fish swimming protectively over their eggs.
We
saw large
schools of yellow snappers, puffer
fish, a red fire goby, butterflyfish, and some nudibranchs.
Here, the marine life is at its best and you will
see spectacular concentrations of pristine corals, colourful tropical
fish,
schooling pelagics and shark action.
Local fishermen
see schools of many kinds of
fish attracted to the coral nurseries, as they pass over them en route to their barren
fishing grounds miles off shore.
You won't
see colorful reefs here, or watch
schools of
fish, or take nice macro photographs.
The
schooling fish we
see are trevally, barracuda, bat
fish and tuna.
